375 H&H Cross Bolts???

Necessary? I don't know. Not an expert! I think the cross bolts have a great aesthetic look on big bore rifles. Kinda add to the panache. But again I grew up in Kentucky with loud cars, flashy wheels and wide tires. I've matured now with a custom lifted F450.

Why not add a little Big Bore Bling, ivory caps on the cross bolts.

My first wood stocked 375 (a Steyr ST) had no crossbolts and cracked in the magic spot. Following that all DG guns in 375 416 and 458 either featured cross bolts or a quality synthetic stock. Lead sleds are frowned upon in my religion.

Weatherby uses epoxied internal cross bolts behind the front recoil lugs and behind the magazine well. Never had an issue with my Mark V 375 H&H. FWIW. JM
