A beauty for sure in a great caliber. I have owned several and just recently had an '03 Springfield re-bored to the Whelen. Hope to get it to the range soon but a sore shoulder has kept me off the kickers for the moment. But I must ask, how long was the drop tube you used to get that much powder into the case and still have room for a projectile? I just put that much of R15 in an unsized fired case and it filled it to the rim! Would be rather heavily compressed!!

@Guy GMy interest started with the 358 winchester as a teenager. After doing some reading of the 35 whelens past performance and a good reputation as a solid hitter since on game like grizzly, I really started to like it. It is hard for not to like the 35 whelen after seeing how good it performs in the field.
@Guy GRight you are sestoppelman, I have written on that target incorrectly years ago. It should read 57 not 67 as it would be impossible to seat a projectile. I will ask the mods to take it down as I don't know how to.
