For use on antelope and in particular the Tiny ones, this deformation will mean nothing and is a moot point, and they will perform outstandingly. Even on larger antelope+ I don't see any major issues in the field. Larger caliber Copper Solids have a bit more diameter and some less prone to deformation, but also it would be rare to run a big bore copper solid above 2600 fps........Had great luck with these in other calibers, have not used the 300 on game.
There are many reasons to be in possession of properly designed Solids for every endeavor in the field, and there are NO good reasons for not having them.I think I'll have John at Safari Arms load a box of these for me. It is always good to have a couple solids handy as you never know what you'll encounter in Africa!
