300 H&H has landed

Very nice rifle in a superb chambering! Hope it shoots as good as it looks!
Cheers,
Cody

Lovely. Now a .416 Rigby to fill out the top end.

That's a real nifty set-up Sheephunter !
Versatile, practical and durable.

I like it A LOT.

I have a CRF M70 .300 Win in a synthetic stock and, whilst nowhere near as nice as this piece is, it sure does do the job on all sorts of medium to large soft skinned game, AND it's a pleasure to carry.

Classic calibre, nicely done rifle. Like many I don't much care for synthetic none walnut stocks but that is very nicely done. I also like the idea of a 40Cal top end rifle vote for a 404 Jeff with the "giraffe paint scheme"

Very nice rifle, congrats.

Some people find it hard to see any beauty in rifle unless it is draped in a highly figured walnut stock contrasting deep blue metal work, and whilst I admit such rifles are definitely easy on the eye I can too see the beauty in the function and form of a well put together synthetic that is all about business !

There is little doubt that the rifles posted in this thread will feature in the memories of the owners on many successful hunts in marginal country in less than ideal conditions and they will perform and be reliable time and again. Function and form :A Way To Go:

When I decided to build a .30 cal, I wanted to do something a bit different so I decided on a 300H&H, figuring it would compliment my 375 H&H nicely. Well, after a long year, it finally showed up in the mail this week. I haven't shot it yet but hope to get out soon. The paint job was inspired by a kudu hide and goes nicely with the zebra theme on the 375!

Rod was showing me that 30-06 it's very nice. RMR builds a very fine rifle, they have done 7 for me so far. They are just finishing up on a 585 Hubel Express should be done in the next couple of months.

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
