3 Dangerous Game Safaris, 2 rifles only, wich calibers?

Thank you for the in depth reply,
For deer i have always used barnes, i looked up the rhino projectiles and they now import them to australia. I think I'll give the expanders a run in my 275 rigby.

When i eventually get on to buff up north I'll be definitely looking to load rhino now.

Cheers

Use the 170 gr Rhino in the 275 Rigby, great bullet

I sometimes like to look at Utube hunting videos when I can get this pad to work and got a good chuckle when I watched a Florida guide telling everyone how they should have a 375H&H with an a frame bullet to kill a piggy and how dangerous they are.

A minute later he shoots one in the shoulder and it runs
off.

He then starts talking again and says," see! I told you how tough they are they don't even stop when hit with an elephant round".

It looked to be a 100 pound porker that was just shot with a bullet that whistled through him like crap through a goose.

If a shooter can hit his mark and uses the correct bullet for the size and weight of game he won't ever have to do much chasing.

Hogwash!

A 300 gr Swift A frame from a 375 H&H, will kill any pig with the right shot placement, period.

No kidding.

What I wrote is what is on you tube. Search it out . " Florida guide shoots hog" would be a good place to start. It's unfortunate that he's just self proclaimed expert on all things . But just because I wouldn't shoot hogs to eat with a 375 doesn't mean that everyone else can not.

Any thing comming out of a 375 will easily kill a hog. They just ain't that tough.

I use .a 223 or a 6.5 Grendle and they all take a nap.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
