No one in their right mind would "restore" a rifle like this one. Any "restoration" work would destroy the value.

You are uniformed with the process he used. He removed the oil soaking from the wood, oil soaked dirt from the metal and retained the original finish. Brought out amazing finish. Stll an old rifle.

Old world beauty. Hold on to that one. It’s a keeper for sure.

Do you also have the enbloc clips for the rifle ? Otherwise the weapon unfortunately becomes a single shot.
