Both 173 grain SP. Should I shoot it or do collectors value this stuff?
The Kynoch is Canadian import made 16 Jan 1940 and the Slovak ammo is Jul 1944.

I collect cartridges & Kynoch packets, they have no great value & that packet is border line but still would be nice in some ones collection, some like full packets like I used to but over time the cartridges damage the packets or have potential to so, now I'm fine with empty's & with more advancing fire arms laws it will get harder to display full packets any way.

Be aware there may well be a click percentage per packet, on mine if that happens I pull them & transfer into new primed case & shoot any way !

It is surprising how cheaply some of this old ammo can be bought for from a collector meeting if not highly sort after or rare, saying that I have been after a nice Kynoch packet for two members here, one .303 Brit - 9.5X57 & I'm having a hard time, may have to pass one or more of my own packets off !

Thank you for tour reply. I also have Kynoch 9x57 but was going to let that go with a 1926 Oberndorf Mauser. Never heard of 9.5x57….the 7x57 packets only have 8 rounds each. I guess cartridge collectors raided the boxes.:D

The 9.5x57 Mannlicher Schoenauer = 9.5x56 MS = .375 Rimless Nitro 2 1/4in any one of those packets which are the same cartridge.

Funny hard to find Kynoch .303 Brit here & there was - is thousands of them but .405win .35 Win & 9x57 by the 10s & just about never see a rifle ?

The Kynoch packet appears to have 139 grains written on it. Could they be reloads?

I enjoy having a few Kynoch boxes on the bookshelves. If I see a deal on them, even if I don’t have a rifle in the given caliber, I try to pick them up.

The only old ammunition I actually *want* to shoot, is some old 303 loaded with danger spaghetti. I’d like to know the smell so when it’s referenced in the older hunting journals I don’t have to guess what they’re describing.

My son in law had some cordet loads for the 303 his grandpa left him a savage 303
They did not go off. He pulled a few cartridge apart the cordiet would not really burn
He got a few spegety pices to spit and spark like a firework fuse

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.
