What is considered “trophy” vs. “non-trophy”?
It’s not about size. It’s about paperwork. If you want to import to the USA, it would be designated as a trophy hunt.

So the elephant pictured in this advertisement is mine from my hunt last September. I killed a 26lb elephant, a 14’ crocodile, a big bull hippo, and 2 spotted hyenas all in the 2 week elephant hunt. My hunt report is in the Africa hunt reports. This is a first class hunt in the every way! The crocodile, hippo, and hyena hunting was incredible as well at unbeatable trophy fees. The difference for the bulls ivory being exportable or not is it has to be heavier than 10kg’s to be exportable to the US. Thus the trophy or non trophy distinction. I can’t say enough about how great of a hunt this is due to the people, value, and experience!

As far as the Bings area it is where the Zambezi and Mlibizi Rivers flow into Lake Kariba. The terrain is hilly and rocky with some moderate climbing/elevation change. The area has a lot of villages just scattered throughout. The hunting area borders Hwange National Park and some forestry area that has elephants moving in and out of mostly due to water. I know Tokoloshe has two hunting areas but I only hunted out of the main lodge so I can’t tell you anything on the other camp. The main lodge is a few hours drive from Victoria Falls and is a beautiful, very comfortable lodge. You are right on the banks of Lake Kariba and the hunting is literally within 10 minutes drive from the lodge and you’re hunting. I hope this helped, you can view videos of my hunt there and the land/lodge on my YouTube channel MWH Adventures.

So great…I can’t tell you the hunting out of the lodge but can out of the camp. Probably why Mark and I are friends!!!

I’m hunting with Tokoloshe this July for elephant. My wife is coming along as an observer. Liesl has been great with communication and has facilitated arrangements for us in Victoria Falls for 3 days prior to arriving in camp. Can’t believe it’s less than three months away to wheels up!

My Rhodesian ridgeback myself and Mikes trackers Tiger and Pizza.
I normally don’t like sitting on the animal as i like to be respectful of the animal but we wanted Badger in the picture to show the size of the elephants.

Just to let you know someone is using your photos to advertise elephant hunts on Facebook at a rate of $14 500 all in.
I was trying to find the post but why I picked up it is the same photos is your ridgeback in the photo. Saw the post on Facebook yesterday.

Thank you Frederik , we are aware though , those are a 7 day offer and not as inclusive as the 10 day . It is however legitimate. Once again thank you for your vigilance though!.

Thank you I remember you were not named as the Outfitter and that is why the querry and need to notify you.

Liesl I recommend breaking out the $18,000 into day rates and trophy fees so people can see what an awesome deal this is. Also unlike other outfitters this cost does not have all the other taxes, VAT, etc. It truly is all in the price she is quoting. Maybe just me but I hate all the other add ons from other outfitters. They would be better off including them in their pricing…they make me feel like an accounted with spreadsheets. Thanks Liesl for not making us do that
I can break it down for you! 10,000 in daily rate, 8000 trophy fee, everything else is 100% included. No hidden fees, no add ons, no delivery fees for the trophy, no transfer cost, no CITES. We unlike many in our industry can add up the total cost of the safari we don't need a client to do our math!!

I don't advertise here, typically on FB and other social media which is why you are seeing a different offer. There's actually 4 different hunts available

My hunt was for 7 days for my elephant. We got him on the last day last hour. I will be doing 10 day hunts with Tokoloshe in the future just to give me more time
