I have used Gracy twice.
The first time with Gio then with second with Nicole.
I had a lot of problems the first trip. The Delta flight out of ATL was cancelled. I received absolutely zero help in re-booking. Ended up spending three days in ATL before I was able to handle it myself. Kept...
I purchased these on the forum.. Original listing is quoted below.
I am keeping several of them, but the ones that I am listing (IHO) fit much more like a 2X than XL. I am 5'11", 215 (built like a keg with legs) and these are out of my comfort zone in the upper body area.
2 Beretta long...
You should really set up your rifle to be run suppressed. 20" (or so) barrel, lightweight short can, 5" or so.
If you stuck a 7 or 8" suppressor on a 24 inch barrel, I think you would find it very unwieldly.
To the OP, what was the setup that you ran? Barrel length and configuration...
I struggle with this regularly. I am really good at "justifying" a new rifle/cartridge.
Truth be told, I could sell everything, keep my Blaser R8 with a few different barrels and be done.
But the I might *need* a 404 Rigby
Or a 416 Parkwest
Or another custom 6.5PRC
Or........
I have this one that I ordered from Eurooptic. In the meantime I was able to grab another scope that I always wanted to try.
Still in the package, never opened.
Went through this In June. Local Customs guy put in on the 4457 but stated that it didnt need to be on it.
Coming back into the US, in Atlanta, the customs guy asked for it, then quickly changed his mind and asked if I had my tax stamp paperwork. I have pictures of the approved forms on my...
I cannot comprehend the heart ache.
As was said earlier, grieve and love. Remember all of the wonderful times that you together that will never be diminished.
22" (approx). 21 1/4" to the front of the receiver. Not threaded
I have not pulled the barreled action out so I don't have an answer to bedding or trigger.
Yes, 7.5 twist
What a great place! I really enjoyed hunting with Conrad and Henno.
We did have one tough night at the fire when we had a "trial" for all of the minor infractions for the week.
Henno was a bit worse for wear the next morning :)
It is a double square bridge, not a single. I didn't want to go the twist off mount direction due to a $900 (with shipping and tax) price point.
Looking at NECG, are the EAW mounts any good.
Sure, call me cheap (I prefer thrifty :)), but $900 for a scope mount seems pretty crazy
Looks like I am going to have to find someone to drill the holes in the action for the Talley bases.
I have tried to get in touch with NECG for the last couple of days to explore other options, with no luck.
Any advice on someone to use? Scares the heck out of me to turn this rifle over to...
Purchased this on a whim some time back. Never shot it.
I did have a local stock guy clean up the stock and put a new recoil pad on it.
Herstal Mauser with a McGowan barrel, front barrel band, etc. Very cool little rifle with nice wood.
$800 shipped.
Recently purchased a 404J Rigby. Picked up a set of Talley QD mounts. Went to install them today and realized that the rear square bridge has to be drilled and tapped.
No one anywhere around me that I would trust to do something like that.
Any other suggestions as to scope mounting or do I...
