I have been disappointed with new Leupolds. Vx3i would not focus, muzzloader scope wouldn’t hold zero, vx5hd was great at first then started shooting 8 inch groups. Leupold repaired them all. The 5HD twice. I started buying used varix3. Problems solved. I hope they get their quality control back.

I have not, but I’m thinking I need to. I don’t want marginal. Seems most things don’t go text book perfect in the field.

I bought my 1st and hopefully only brick of Remington primers. I have had 3 or 4 misfires out of the last few hundred. Different guns also. I think it is the primers. Never had the issue before.

I have flown airlink with no problems. On time, organized, and a decent cold cut sandwich for lunch.

We have killed a bunch of white tail, several elk, 1 kudu, and other plains game with both 150 grain partitions and 150 grain TTSX. Most animals run 50 to 100 yards. TTSX leaves a better blood trail for sure. All of these kills were less than 100 yards. Happy hunting.

375 H&H! There is loaded ammo in every town around the world. If your a hand loader there are lots of components out there. Bullet weights can be from 200 grain to 350. It’s very versatile.

I own one and love it. I took it on a plains game hunt last month. Farthest shot was on a wart hog at 249 yards. It’s an extremely versatile cartridge. Do you have your eye on one that’s for sale?

I just flew Ethiopian Dulles-ADD-Vic Falls. It worked well. There is certainly a process in Ethiopia, but they are not anti gun so it normally works out good.
