I have shots trophies and culls. None have meant more to me than the others, it’s about the experience. “Trophy” hunting is ruining the experience. I have seen people be extremely disappointed with “near” record book animals. It’s the same experience, enjoy it.

Some places already do this. I would not prefer to hunt there, but keep in mind this is somewhat how cull priced hunts work. You are paying less for a different sized trophy.

Yes, there are quite a few companies that operate tours out of Maun for Moremi. Our first time we used Botetis Tented Safari Lodge for accommodations and tours. The second time we stayed at Maun Lodge with our hunting outfit (NKWE Safaris) and they did our tour. Both experiences were great.

We have taken tours into the Moremi Game Reserve the both times we were there.

Kudu Gemsbok, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, and Warthog.

When we hunted with Jaco, both types of properties were hunted, some with high fence and some with low fences. It somewhat depended on the species hunted, a lot of the kudu are free range, with many of the other animals being high fenced. The high fenced properties are huge, just so you know.

I agree they are the best. I am sure there are many outfits that do a great job, but I just find it difficult to go with anyone else. There prices are really reasonable as well, specifically there cull prices. As you can see above I shot a couple of culls and appreciate the ability to do so...

The outfit I hunted with also offered Sika hunting and it was not based on trophy size. One price per stag regardless of size and it was very economical.

That is awesome, glad to hear it. I am not sure when I am heading back, but it won’t be too long. I think I have my sites set on one of the many huge kudu they have running around. I could not believe the number of amazing kudu I saw.

Great videos for what appears to be damn near perfect bullets. I really like that he shows how the bullet performs at 100 yards. As a side note, it also shows how bullet construction has more to do with penetration and how section density has very little to do with actual penetration as well.

I had a rebore done in the last year by JES reboring and was absolutely happy with the experience. I went from 270 to 9.3x62 and had him chop the barrel as well, at no additional cost. I unfortunately have not shot it yet, but bet it shoots as good as I do.
