Morning all. Shot a giraffe bull in Namibia, thought we might have gun cases made after seeing some online. Now having trouble finding someone to work with giraffe. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks.

I’m not an expert, I did shoot a giraffe on my last African trip. My PH said if I could make a head shot I could use my .300PRC with 195 gr Hammer bullet. Otherwise I would need a 375 or larger. The hide is incredibly thick which we could appreciate after he was on the ground.

Bought auction hunt at SCI chapter for OX ranch nilgai. They don’t stay still long, don’t let you get very close but your experience might be different. Shot mine at 360 yards with 300PRC with 195 gr Hammer bullet. Dropped him. The meat is delicious like everyone says. Good luck.

We overnighted @africa Sky and used Gilbert to assist with guns. Good food, they had chef and dining room staff stay late as our flight from ATL delayed over 2 hours, other hunters on board also. Clean room, friendly staff. Gilbert very helpful.
