Last I checked Marshall ii says the crown has the right to regulate the fisheries, yet we have feathered locusts destroying every natural resource they can get their hands on in the name of a quick buck. 50 dollars will buy a five gallon bucket of lobster tonight in Yarmouth. Lobster that was...

Sounds like I’ll be able to get a good deal on a spring bear hunt if that comes to pass, seriously though all that is going to hurt is New Brunswick outfitters. As for the natives they’ve been allowed to run unchecked for years and they are very good at destroying everything they come in...

It might of belonged to him at one point but not anymore I picked it up off gunpost this spring from someone in ontario. Edit: after having coffee I realized you were talking about the rifle in @Sarg posts not the one I posted.

Just an update sighted Ivan in with 180 grain federal tonight, under 2 inch groups at 50 yards in a 15 or so mph head wind I was impressed with the rifle. Probably going to be what I carry this fall after bear and whitetail. For those good with ballistic calculations a 308 shooting 180 grain...

I use inkbirds but it takes two to make it work. they are roughly 50 dollars a piece off Amazon. A/c unit plugs into one ink bird with the temperature probe inserted gently between the fins of the condenser. Set this ink bird to 0.5c when the condenser begins to ice up this controller cuts...

Anyone ever notice how intertwined pork an apples are ? Wife an I spent today jarring apple sauce and rendering lard. Pigs around here are traditionally finished with apples to give the meat a sweet flavour. Pork chops locally are served with applesauce as a condiment. It takes lard to make pie...

When making corned beef or deer meat and also when making salt fish we salt the water until a potato floats so a raw egg floating on wine mash isn’t out of the question for an old time home gauge. I forage a fair bit of my one food the wife and I just finished canning 25 jars of apple sauce...

I’m not a fan of trump by any means but this one is a justified reaction. Alcohol sales in Canada are provincially regulated so for example in Nova Scotia where I live the only legal supplier of alcohol is the provincial liquor stores giving them a monopoly. Most Canadian provinces pulled...
