The Buffalo herd on Mutanda is growing nicely. Lone old Buffalo bull on the Mutanda Nature Reserve. Some up and coming Kudu Bulls... I think its fair to say, I have a slight obsession with Buffalo.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:;), I think those are better suited to the clear water of Lake Tanganyika, you might struggle to see in the black, muddy water that still covers the majority of the Kasonso.

We look forward to hosting you guys, unfortunately Kasonso is literally one massive bog until the end of June, so those rubber boots are a must

I have never set foot on Takeri, but have been in the area around it before, and it is a truly magnificent piece of Zambia. The Kafue is a special river, and you guys seem to have a magnificent little piece along her banks, the magnificent herds just add to it...

I'm not sure, I've been in the UK for the last week, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 2000 mls on Mutanda, the rains have been unbelievable. Its the heaviest we have seen in years. How many ml's have you had at Takeri?

The Kafue in full flood, is an awe inspiring sigh for sure. We have had unbelievable rains up in the North-West, but thankfully after a week of rain last week, the clouds seem to be clearing.

Well we can drive around most places, but there are still a lot of flooded dambo's and soft marshy areas, that love to bog a Landcruiser down. That being said it seems the rains are now gone completely, so hopefully everywhere will start drying up. Kasonso on the other hand is another story all...
