Not sure if it’s a left or right handed stock as the cheek piece switches sides in the different pics. That shop is in town btw. Lots of nice stuff there.

In case you need a 2-Bore to round out your collection...
You have to admire the talent to get all the screw slots to align in the proper orientation around the parameter of the side plates. One theory is that the screw heads are oversized in height, once set, they are filed down and new slots cut so they are aligned. Regardless how it’s done, a neat...
@Huvius I have one with a reinforced wrist too, but credit for mine is thanks to USPS and Ace Bandage . Top to bottom: Gibbs 461, Manton 500 BPE, Lancaster 375 FL, Webley .450 NE.
Thanks. The 9.3 ammo was S&B factory. The Brennekes were 2.5” as that is what the seller told me. When I got it, it’s marked for 2-3/4”. Perhaps full length shells will regulate better. I was told it’s modified choke but need to confirm. According to Brenneke’s website, their slugs can be shot...
Not sure where you want to head with the 505, but 5744 May get you there. I’ve used the 55gr load for practice. Shot well. https://forums.**NOT**PERMITTED**.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4711043/m/6701060101?f=4711043&s=518103&r=6701060101&a=tpc&csra=Y&m=6701060101#6701060101

Wanted to share. New to me pre-war Heym dbl rifle drilling in 9.3x74 over 16ga. Got to take it out last weekend. First group and only group I shot - only at 25 yards, but shows promise. Was glad to find 16ga Brennekes! I intentionally shot the slug on the other target not knowing where it would...
The serial number on the water table shows 57 (Arrieta manufacturer) and 04 (2004 as year of manufacture). (Arrieta engraved on the barrels and sidelocks.) The number of stars on the barrels near the flats under the forearm would indicate choke. (https://www.hallowellco.com/choke_chart.htm)...
I believe this is actually an Arrieta and not an AYA. “Wingshooters Light Game Gun” - these are great guns. I have one but was brought in from New England Gun Co and is their version of it instead of WSA’s. RST makes some great 2” shells. Whoever gets this will really enjoy it!
Has a pad been added, or wood or metal redone? If so, detract for that. Make sure any leaf site or the set screw for the double set triggers is present. Got burned on the later without catching it - almost unattainium. Plus if peep site, cleaning rod in the butt plate trap door or English name...
I’m looking for a set of .375 nitro express 2-1/2” reloading dies. CH4D told me they have scheduled a run - in 24 months. I have the brass, primers, bullets, powder and the rifle. Just need the dies! Let me know what you have. Thanks in advance.
Perhaps you could find the GB user that won the auction. Should be doable. If they also post items for sale, you could write them through their “for sale” auctions. Just a thought.
I can try. Not sure what the case loss might be necking them down. If you want, I’ll try three. If not successful, I’ll send the lot back plus three once fired. Worse case we‘re both out the postage. PM me if you want to give it a go. Thanks.
What a great transaction! I forgot how nice these rifles are, and very glad to have it. Great seller and a gentleman. Looking forward to the opportunity to do business with again!
Spectacular rifle!!! What’s not to like! A couple of thoughts. Perhaps the 6/1 stamp on the flats refers to the chamber dimension (for a paper case) rather than the bore? As stated above, 6 bore is .919”. As the 6/1 indicates a larger than 6 bore, that fits with the chamber cast at .926” (An...
