I'd agree with everyone on the 375. I've had great experience taking everything up to and including buffalo. If you plan to hand load try the heavy for caliber bullets (350gr), not much you can't do with that combo. Also agree with a couple threads on vintage gun...that can mean many things...

Heard you may have load data for the 500 Jeffery,.....any info would be appreciated. Was thinking 535gr, but already had a response that the 570gr would be a better way to go, not sure why.

With such a short neck on the case I figured a 535 might stay a little straighter during seating but I could be off base there?

Not opposed at all to using 570,....I'm just having trouble finding data in general. loaddata.com has a few but not much.
