This optic is new in the box, all paperwork included, only thing missing is the plastic wrap that was on the outside. This is not the extended version as I can tell. Hope someone can use this. $390 shipped.
I have a reamer in route (about 3 weeks out) so if anyone is interested in having a barrel done please PM me (I’m not a smith so you would need to have one lined up). Also, I picked up an extra set of dies and I can get properly head stamped brass as the photo shows. For those of you that take a...
I will show you a lineup a bit later this morning. This cartridge is based on the 404J case necked to .458 diameter. There was much confusion at first because there was a 458 Express and the 458 African Express - the solution was dropping “express” off of the name to dub the cartridge the “458...
I’m just getting started making sure I have all the components I need first (which I’ve now secured). I will be using a standard FN action which is what I built my 404J on as well. I’m excited about this project getting going.
2 boxes of new Hornady brass (40 pieces total), 1 box of once fired Norma brass (20 pieces), 1 box of 400 gr Swift A Frames, and throwing in 2 boxes of older Hornady 400 gr RN FMJ (just to use for practice). $285 shipped in USPS medium flat rate.

Well I heard from Jorgen…Here is the response from North Fork :
Hi Martin
It's protected tip. 257, 264 323 have protected tip.
So I was wrong about the nose shaping - they are good to go.
Just my opinion but it looks as though they didn’t get the final step(s) of shaping the nose - again, that’s just my take on this. I’ll hopefully find out more soon.
I’ve never seen that nose on a NF. What’s the stamped lot number on the inside flap ? I’ve sent a photo of these to Jorgen to get his opinion ( these bullets were produced before he bought NF but he may have some input)
New condition hard cover book, 195 pages, dust jacket in excellent condition as well. $175 shipped media mail. Hopefully someone needs this for their library.
I’m a NF fan but both are undoubtedly excellent choices. These NF’s are from buff - hard to beat. They typically give you higher velocities using less powder (bore riding bullets)
