I have not shot 500grain barnes bullets but have shot many other Barnes products up to 400 grains out of my 404, they have work extremely well for me.

This is 100% true it helps clear the are of death and will hopfully not be alarming to other Elphants they are very smart animals. This has been a common practice for many years. I wish we knew more detail on if the meat was actually utilized.

30-06 and 308 both worked great for me during my younger years being great. The 30-06 is a rigby its heavier but the 308 is a kimber a great off the shelf flat shooting rifle very little weight and very little recoil di numerouse hunts with mine around the world.

416 and 404 Jeffery. Reasoning I already, they have all done good for me they pack a punch without totally beating the guy up on the other end.
