I have a Savage striker in .308, I started with light H4895 loads & went up...but not much. It's been years since I played with it, have to look up the actual data. Shot a lot of cheap Hornady 150 fmjs.

Congrats! Before the covid-craziness I was looking at booking a black bear hunt in Canada, now that they're open for business again, I make book for 2024.

A few years after the manbun came out, I bought a barrel for one of my Savages. It's soft shooting and clangs my gongs well but, I think I'll stick with my .308 or 06' for general hunting use.
