@Charlie64 , what scope were you using on the rifle ? I have an old Diavari-C 3-9x36 on mine. A tad too big for driven. So I’m thinking of putting my Meopta R2, 1,7-10x42 on. Otherwise it’s a matter of taking a Duralyt 1,2-5x36 off my 375 and the pain of rezeroing.
A lot of people will gawk at the buffalo after the shot. The PH’s job is to keep the client alive and bring a successful conclusion to events. A double rifle with an empty barrel is now a single shot. If things go pear shaped you’d be glad of the instruction.
Quad sticks are initially a bit difficult to deploy and use. However once you get used to them they’re a game changer. My ViperFlex Journey sticks accompany me every time I go hunting. They’ve enabled me to take shots on occasions and distances that previously I would have had to pass on.
If they tell you to shoot the wrong animal that is out of your budget that’s their problem. The fellow that you are hunting with is called the PH, Professional Hunter.
