I was there a month ago and didn’t have a single issue and never felt uneasy. I landed in Cancun, was picked up by the outfitter and We drove 6 hours south to the jungle. It was a great experience and I’ll go back again soon to focus on turkeys. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Yes…their fee is higher and I think if you have to make adjustments to your flight it’s more involved/costly but yes you can use points

The Savannah area has many risks beyond poachers. It’s sad as I loved my time there but I can see opportunity dwindling in that region as the years go by. Hunting is likely the only thing keeping the region afloat.

I killed 2 in there a few years back. Very small block, smallest in the Save I believe. Glad to see Phillip no longer has it to plunder the game. Best of luck.
