Perhaps an addendum to this thread on what calibre for tofu and wether you shut one or both eyes when shooting it Gumpy

With the CZ 550’s and big bores, if the set trigger is a single set, it can be adjusted out to work as a standard trigger that’s not that heavy Gumpy

Any decent machinist can make one, I made mine to suit the crossbolts I made for my bigbores and if I can do it, it’s not that hard then. Gumpy

I was ambidextrous when younger, forced to be right handed at school, but left eye dominate , shot rifles and shogun right hand and hand gun left handed. I would have both eyes open till I needed to shoot and then close the eye not needed so I could focus better, when I was blinded in my left...

I still have access to the Deckel , just it’s a two hour drive to get to my friends place to use it and I then have to set everything up, turns into a very long day. Gumpy

That’s the one. I was first taught to make them using a Deckel copy mill, once set up it’s very easy to make them in an almost production process, the video is a little bit more complicated to start , but works just as well and is probably how I’d do them from now on Gumpy

There is a YouTube video by a guy from the ACGG that shows him making a quarter rib for a rifle, his process is very similar to how I was taught to do it. Gumpy
