How many guns is “too many”?

Follow on to the, "shoes and purses" standard; my wife saw my post and her response was, "Yes, but your guns cost more than my purses". My response, "Try stopping an elephant with a purse". I'll be out in the shop for the remainder of today.

    CBP Form 4457 Questions

The Customs officer will need to see/verify the serial numbers of whatever you are listing.

    How much Ammo is “Enough”?

Simple, there is no such thing as "Enough ammo".

    CBP Form 4457 Questions

Agreed, most countries require a copy of that form prior to your entry. Use one form for rifle/scope and as Jim said use a second one for other items. If taking more than one gun, I would use a separate form for each.

How many guns is “too many”?

With respect to, "Too many"; if we substitute, "Enough" - I have found that number is in direct proportion to women's shoes and purses. Using that standard also eliminates the need to answer, "Why do you need so many?", in fact, after 28 years of marriage that question no longer arises.

    Skull prep

Thanks. We've got plenty of fire ants, I was actually going to try that before I posted my question. Mowed the field yesterday, so there's some fresh activity. On the subject of fire ants, any good techniques to get rid of them? I've used poison bait, but what seems to work best is a mixture...

    Rigby Double Rifle

Wow, interesting and informative - would any of you entertain the idea of expounding on cordite/blackpowder vs modern rifles? I have a First Model Colt Dragoon, a Navy Colt, and a couple Sharps, but have never considered shooting them.

    Trophy Room - start

Definitely on the list. That print/frame have been in a box for years, this is the first time I've hung it. It's a cool print - but completely lost with that glass.

Here's the giraffe leg bones. These were done in Namibia. Undecided were/how to display them.

Mine as well. This print was a gift, this is the first time I've hung it - I'd say a new frame and different glass are in order. Thomas Quinn is another wildlife artist I enjoy, he works mostly in watercolor. I don't recall anything related to Africa though.
