    Taxidermy from Argentina

We have not received trophy’s. We hunted in June 24 and were recently told it would be June 25, we will see. I know they offer many hunting and fishing locations, not sure about Africa.

    Taxidermy from Argentina

Pointer was a top notch organization, I would highly recommend them to anyone. We hunted dove and red stag, stayed to 2 separate lodges and everything was amazing. Accommodations, food, guides and hunting exceeded my expectations.

    Wood stock rifles

I know that plastic/composite stocks are quite popular these days, but why is it increasingly difficult to find a new classic walnut gun? I understand carrying some black stocks, but keep the normal production of wood guns available.

    First handmade knife

Thanks for the kind words. No fancy tools here, just a hacksaw, angle grinder, files and a cheap 1x30 belt sander I picked up from Harbor Freight. As for a forge, I simply carved out some fire brick as and used an old propane torch. I got up to temperature and became non-magnetic, just took a...

    First handmade knife

I decided to try and make my own knife, for my birthday I picked out a Damascus blank and some ironwood scales for my wife to get me. It has taken about a month or so of an hour here, 30 minutes there, but I finally have something that resembles a knife worth posting. Gotta love YouTube...

Franchi Instinct O/U Shotgun Opinion Sought

I have an Instinct in 20g and love it. It fits great and shoulders well. I shoot better with it than my Citori that cost much more. I would highly recommend it.

    Elephant taxidermy

Excuse my ignorance, but what am I looking at? Is this the plantar aspect of the actual foot, or a mold of the foot print? Either way I like it and always enjoy new trends in taxidermy.

How are your trail cams looking this year?

If y We have tried to get rid of the hogs and a trap seems to be the most efficient. As far as the feeders go we have a 24-30” fence around them, easy for deer to jump, but keeps the hogs out. You can see the fence in my pictures in my prior post.

    Questions before heading to Argentina

I am headed to Argentina for a mixed bag hunt and have a few questions Do I need to treat my clothes with permethrin before going? Heard no-see-ums can be bad, will treated clothes help with this or should I take some additional DEET Tipping suggestions for hunt staff helping with the dove...

A great gift for a great dad

I had a custom knife made for my dad, turned out great and will fit in your budget. Used cattle dog forge. He worked with me and got exactly what I/my dad wanted, a custom Canadian belt knife.

    New Base for pedestal Axis

That looks great!! Did you have to add weight to the wine rack to balance it? Weight in addition to the wine bottles I mean.
