    I noticed this with the 300 Rum and 300win also, I really hadn't noticed, before, but I was doing load tests at the same time. With 190-210 bullets.

    We can't use primers or sabots here in Montana, but I wonder If musket caps would make a difference?

    Ir, you could always take a 350 Norma mag, turn the belt off and rebate the rim, since we are talking wildcats here

    The biggest thing is stock fit, a comb on a gun made for a scope is higher then one made for just iron sights, just either replace the stock, or remove the excess wood from yours.
