Ha! If you're in Alaska I'm very familiar with the conditions. Years ago I took 2 bud's on a 10 day fly-in drop camp in the Shotgun Hills for Caribou. The first nite a typhoon blew in with winds to 80. Broke our only tent pole and the tent nearly "flapped" us to death. Spent the next 4 days with...

I have only found one type of blade to he helpful. A small sterile scalpel....for digging various and sundry thorns and stickers out of yourself if necessary.
