Take a stack of $10 and $20 bills for tips - kind of a pain but I have found it to be super handy.
As other have said - if possible, take that extra animal that happens to jump out.
I have 2 different 375s I chopped down. Sako A5 - 21” and Win 70, 20” both still shoot 300 grains great. Cut the Sako down because it was ported, but then got it threaded to try a can on it.

I suggest a phone conversation with the PH . If you have the budget and want to add 10-12 animals they may work with you on pricing. The price lists of animals on donation hunts are much more expensive per animal as they are trying to make up for the daily fees...
My favorite cartridge is the 270 win. I have used it with great success in NA and Africa on game up to and including kudu. Use a 150 grain premium bullet and you’ll be just fine. Have also used 243, 7mm mag, 30-06, 375HH, 404J in Africa.
