I don't talk about this often, there a exactly two people I have would ZERO hesitation to eliminate from existence. Those pieces of excrement harmed the 2 people that I care the most about.
However, then the people who have already been through hell would have more of it to endure.
I'll not do...
Too much Disney TV, naming dangerous animals with cutesy names and there is absolute no cure for care-less and ignorance. Both combined in one person is a tragedy waiting to happen.
I own an 1896 JP Sauer double rifle. At some point in the last 129 yrs it had an extension added, total LOP is now 14.75 inches.
To my way of thinking, it adds to the value and history of the rifle.
Plus it fits me better than any other rifle that I have ever handled.
If it is a split, not a crack, they are usually small and easily stabilized with accubond or a similar product used for glass bedding a rifle. I've done it to a few Husky's and the split did not change afterwards. It usually happens with the Arctic Birch stocks, it is NOT the same as paper Birch.
Great idea! Personally, I bought a left hand Ruger American in 450B a few yrs ago from Randy's. Inexpensive, accurate and reliable. It filled my needs. It's my "using" rifle.
I look regularly to see what Randy has in any left hand rifles from Ruger. A 7x57/275 would REALLY get my attention!!
