I've made my own from some old 21/2 inch oak I salvaged from old upright piano. Works great and looks great too!

Well, let me think. My 2 double rifles were produced in the early 1880's and late 1890's. A single shot was made in the 1870's. My favorite lever gun was made in the 1920's. 6 of my bolt guns were made just after WWII, mid to late '40's Wait, I do have 2 rifles with plastics stocks, a 270...

They're called "activists". The crimes that they have been committing world wide are called "protest's" and "demonstrations". They are nothing but terrorists and in some cases, killers. And they ALL should be treated as such. I'll stand down from my soapbox now.

Quality rifles from that era with some character are a weakness for me!! Beautifully stocked, simple, and built to last for generations.

Very easy to do, one past through a 9.3 sizing die is all it takes.

I currently have 3 Husqvarna rifles, a 9.3x57, a 8x57, and my latest one is a 6.5x55 with a claw mount scope! All of them are terrific rifles.
