Buy some of the ADG 375 Ruger brass advertised here by Raven Rocks. ADG did a limited production run but I managed to obtain some recently. I agree Hornady brass quality can be sub optimal and expect much greater consisrency from the ADG.
Recently did ( another ) tade with @LRich here. He is a gentleman of the first order and as honest and trustworthy as they come. In complete disclosure it is my good fortune to have known LRich for some years so my commendation includes a track record perspective. I have total faith in any...
Roger,
From the perspective of a Kiwi who has hunted several times in the USA with my own rifle, it is certainly doable as long as you don't mind the complex procedure for a permit.
Applications should be made weeks in advance of travel dates although once an application is sent approval is sent...
You're not alone. I've been humbled too but on different game. Never hunted Leopard which are acknowledged for unpredictable results.
As hunters we all want success but need to remember if we are genuine, honest hunters that sometimes nature will hold the winning hand. I remind myself that's...
Just amazing quality with all these bulls. You guys are making my heart ache for the heat and the chase.
Thanks to all of you for your pics and part of your fond memories.

I shouldn't have opened this thread. Dammit ! So many wonderful bulls and I can't get enough. Now I'll be dreaming and scheming all afternoon instead of concentrating on what I should be doing.
Sorry, haven't read this entire thread but can offer some use experience on White River primers. Here in NZ we had the same primer shortage nightmare and I had to resort to any alternative when my preferred Federals were unavailable. So far I have used only WR LR primers in mostly Norma brass...
If needed you can always quickly adjust the focus ring on the Patrol scope to more exactly see your aim point. Not the same as adjusting parallax but still helpful on a smaller sized target. I do this myself but never felt deficjent with no parallax adjustment on my scope. My longest shots are...
The perfect result for everything you went through. The whole story rates among the best hunting tales anywhere.
Congrats on a fine Leopard and a great hunt.
