Real men. This Pygmy tracking team in Cameroon deserves all the credit for my bongo. A two-week safari on hands and knees behind them for bongo, dwarf buffalo and forest sitatunga makes me want to go back. Raw, rugged, and real hunting. And don't ask me how, but I missed a buffalo at about 20 paces in thick bush. Rifle was an aperture-sighted Remington 673 Guide Gun in .350 Rem. Mag. It never got caught up in the bush and it was easy to carry at the side. Never worried about it getting wet, and the laminate wood was so tough you could not tell it had been on such a rugged safari.
Is there a hunt report?

Please do, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to read about it. (y)
