VERY interesting thread and conversations here. On another thread, I asked why no one had necked down a .458 Lott to .416? OP stated the .416 Remington was that creation. Apparently not, unless I’m misinterpreting something on this thread about the 8mm in relation to the .416 Remington? Thanks!

Trump2020 Just to be clear the 375 H&H’s is the parent cartridge of the 8mm Rem Mag,& so the 8mm is the parent cartridge of the 7mm STW.Thr 8mm Rem Mag is the parent cartridge to the 416 Rem Mag not the 416 Rigby
