Greetings from Sweden

I have quite a few old Military Rifles that have had Timney triggers installed in them. They are much better than the original two stage varieties.

Back again. Until now has only a badger been polite enough to show itself.

This nice boar have been feeding by my hide for a couple of weeks. I hope he will come back when I am there. A lot of pigs now. Can be an intresting autumn.

Good luck getting him!

A belated welcome to the forum. It looks like you have a good hunting area for pigs/hogs/boar. The numbers in many countries seem to be increasing dramatically.
Your rifle has a really nice piece of stockwood so hope the fixed crack is no longer a problem now that you have relieved the rear of the tang.

Thanks! Yes the crack is no longer an issue.

Welcome!

Last Sunday the 9x57 once again had the chance to shine. Sadly did not the owner his job, and shot the pig in the liver/belly. But the pig only managed to run 100m. My friend tracked it with his Wachtelhund and shot it in the neck.

Glad to have you. Welcome

Hopefully the pig was running. That by the way is one beautiful rifle.

Yes, it came 7 pigs running. My swing was a little bit slow. I had luck on my side this time.

Update!
Got hold of 20pcs of original Kynoch rounds 245 grains RN. I will not use them, they will just be together with the gun and for the looks of them.

Welcome to the forum, which part of Sweden are you from?

Varberg- South of Gothenburg

Is it just me or does the idea of bird hunting with a rifle feel weird?

I’ve shot many turkeys with a 22 Hornet and ultra light 30-06 loads. Several blue grouse (called dusky grouse now) during deer and elk season with ultra light loads in my 30-06. You have to be careful where you hit them with head shots being the best for meat preservation.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
