As many are aware Bossie was seriously wounded by a buffalo this morning (see:https://www.africahunting.com/threa...ounded-buffalo-today.49009/page-2#post-530418). As @Wheels so eloquently put it over the last couple of years Bossie,
-lost his home and the contents to a tornado and rain.
-wife died.
-raising a pre-teen boy by himself.
-worked at keeping a business going through all of this.
-now, been hit and gored by a buffalo. Not sure how he is going to deal with the medical expenses or keep business going for the next undetermined amount of time, all at the start of the season.
Bossie was gored in the leg and abdomen, broke several ribs, and has all the injuries that go along with that. It will be a tough road for him coming up and I’m sure he would really appreciate any and all help we can give him.

UPDATE:
He will have another surgery today on his leg... they were not able to get it all cleaned up yesterday. He’s doing good... trouble speaking.... with broken ribs & torn diaphragm. Will remain in ICU.

Yessir.... he was tracking a wounded buffalo that had been arrowed on Tuesday. They bumped it a few times on Wednesday & Thursday.... Friday morning, Bossie & Bethel (tracker) went separate way. Bossie was ambushed. Tossed 3-4 times in air. Gored 2x. He grabbed its horns & was tossed into a thick Bush. Buffalo ran off.

Hey have been on that concession.... man.... 30+ minutes from black top road. Hour to “local” hospital. Probably 3 hours from “good” hospital.

Yes sir.... I think it is only wise & prudent to have a hard end date, so this does grow a long tail or become stale and forgotten. I think 4/15 gives everyone enough time that wants to give, to give. Then I can forward funds to Bossie/Family.
