Oh would this be an awesome hunt! If my daughter wasn’t so ill and we weren’t raising our youngest granddaughter, I would try very hard to do this. An elephant is the ultimate DG trophy. JMO

As I stated, I have dreamed of hunting an elephant for as long as I've thought about hunting in Africa, even bought a .416 Rigby a couple of years ago just in case I ever got rich. The closest I realistically thought I was going to get was to live vicariously through my friend @Edge 's report. But this offer and a very wonderful wife that knows how much it means to me pushed me to realize that I only live once. So come February 2020 @Just Gina and I will get to experience one of my dreams!

I have as well and never thought it would happen..... I have also booked elephant for 2020. Not here but all the best, our dream is about to become reality.

US is starting to review Zim elephants and a few from 14/15 are rumored to start being allowed in.

As has been mentioned might this be available in 2021?? Im guessing there will always be some elephant causing issues with crop damage.

Just returned from this hunt .. after my client took his bull on the 4th day there was still a serious problem with Elephant [emoji208] raiders and I had to attend , and even now that I am back I have been asked to attend to another .. really would like to have had another client in now before my next hunt starts on the 17th March .

Look at the damage done to this maize field .... every stalk has been eaten .. a complete loss here ..

I am being called endlessly to come and attend to raiding Bull Elephant [emoji208].. since I have been back in town I’ve had for the past 3 days been called night and day from various areas and various people all with whom I work with .. I duly wish I had a hunter on the ground now .. my next client only arrives on the 17th March.. the probability of me having to do a management hunt is very likely..
