More big news from Top of Texas Taxidermy

We’ll folks. It’s been a heckava day. This morning we closed on our new building at the new location. We will still be here in Amarillo but at a much better location. The new building will be much more efficient and much nicer. I’m am very excited over this and it will enable us to provide faster, more efficient, and better service. The remodel starts Monday. I will keep everyone posted on progress and post pictures once we get things rolling.
Probably the most exciting news out of everything recently is that I hired apprentice. Kelly is very dedicated and a very hard worker she will no doubt prove to be a huge asset for years to come

Oh ya that’s only a small piece. I could mount a full body giraffe in this shop with no issues and get it out the door. That’s just a taste

If I could again find the right person, that be awesome. Jim was with me 6 yrs. till he got sick and passed away. Tried a few others who had been to taxidermy school and/or had their own business, they did not last long.
One high school student had a class where they go out and work for someone, this kid would of become a employee and trained to take over the day to day business but, he went off to college and became a agronomist.

Sooo, that leaves just me. Really not interested in hiring again UNLESS, the right person comes along.

Good help is really hard to find. Kelly has been helping me since I bought it and helped the previous owner for several years. She loves it and is going to be really good one day.
I’m not planning on any price increases unless materials go up.
