Other than the obvious few celebrity faces , how does everyone figure out who everyone is? First, I am horrible with remembering names anyway, but I mostly "know" folks by there Avatar handles. When we get to the dinner if anyone has a name tag on, it's usually their real names (I assume they are real ) I feel like I miss out of talking to folks. Guess I'll make a more concerted effort to get around more this time.

Does anyone know if the convention center has the ability to check and hold luggage? My flight arrives at 9:30 am and I'm going to be staying with a buddy in the suburbs. Thanks!

SCI had a room where you could check coats and personal items but not sure about DSC, I would recommend you calling them.

Our party got so big that Gilley's is moving us from the Jack Daniel's Saloon Room to The Loft Room (https://www.gilleysdallas.com/rooms/the-loft/) as we surpassed the seating capacity.

When: Friday, January 18th 2019
Cocktails: 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Dinner: 7:30pm
End Time: 11:30pm

No problem checking coats just prior to purchasing your entry ticket. Luggage I don't know about. They place the coats on hangers and charge I believe $3.00 per day for the coats. I check my coat there every day I attend.

Weather at DSC

If you are coming to DSC, bring sun screen and bikinis for Thursday and Friday. However, bring the heavy stuff for Saturday and Sunday. No snow or ice just cold. Welcome to Texas. Wait a minute and the weather will change.

I am curious about this also, I was hoping to leave the convention Sunday and go straight to the airport with my luggage. Would hate to have to go back to the hotel to retrieve it.

I'm a late visitor to DSC as well. Unfortunately missed SCI this year so decided to book a last minute flight. I'd like to attend the get together if there are any last minute cancelations.
