The shows have started and guys are booking trips so lets share some details. Share your trip info even if not booked at a show. I myself enjoy seeing who has want plan as it helps kill the time before I head on my trips.

My plans are 8 days hunting in Namibia with Pieter delport to start then off to Pieter at paw print for 6 or 7 days. Hoping to head over june 21 or 22 to start. Waiting on Dakotas new passport since he turned 18 years old this one will not work so no airfare booked yet. Hard to believe when I found this site he was only 11.

Once again taking the bow and rifles to hunt. Main animals for Namibia are mtn. zebra, oryx, springbuck then what ever the bush shows us. We will both be looking for those animals to start.

Then once we get to South Africa it is nyala with the bow for Dakota and who knows what after that.
For me a bushbuck and bushpig with who knows what after that.

First time to Alaska with Triple C Outfitters for Moose and Brown Bear.

Nice I keep thinking about Alaska but can not get the African bug out of me yet. LOL So you will be heading out aug or sept I guess

No plans yet, itching and hoping for leopard, destination TBD. Also on the wishlist is South America water buff, Europe Roe/Chamois combo, and many more to be honest..lol

South Africa for plains game with Limcroma in June... and Argentina with Argentinas Best Hunting for dove and some dorado fishing in November..

Will try to make elk season in Colorado this year as well.. but that's not set in stone yet...

Zimbabwe in May for elephant. Hoping to get a leopard when I am there but not holding my breath. Also looking for other DG - Hippo and Croc. If I see a big buff, he will die.

Then RSA (Limpopo) in July for plains game and if I still need a hippo or croc or leopard (and permit available).

Bow in RSA. Taking bow to Zim, but might be forced to use a gun on Jumbo.

I am strongly thinking about roe/chamois hunt in Europe as well. I haven't booked anything but strongly checking out options. You will have to let me know what you fine.

As for my plans in 2017...Dall Sheep Yukon. 7 years of saving and finally going after sheep. Might try to sneak in a coues or sitka hunt or maybe some waterfowl (still need a eider and a specklebelly from my bucket list). Or maybe I will get lucky a draw a sheep/goat hunt. I will be back in Africa for 2018 though, probably just PG on that trip though.

British Columbia with my son in May for black bear, Sharpies in Montana in September with old friends, and two weeks in Mozambique with Grant Taylor in October for Buff, Sable, Nyla, and little stuff.

My son and I will hunt with Pieter at Paw Print for a few heads of plains game on a 5 day hunt the first week of July, will meet with Pieter in K.C. MO. on 20 January (an SCI Chapter event) since this will be our first hunt to Africa. Dove hunt in Arkansas in September. Deer in Arkansas in November and December. Hoping to hunt in Eastern Colorado or the Mid West in October for quail and pheasant, but no commitment there as yet. Plan on attending Cal Pappas' Double Gun event in Anchorage during first weekend end in May. Not a hunt, but should learn a lot about doubles, old and new, and have Rock Fish with Velo Dog!

I remember your photos from your previous buff hunt in Mozambique! Still a glutton for punishment!!!! Looking forward to the next report and photos!

Our annual South Texas hog hunt is in March, three generations going. Then in June, my baby daughter and I ( my baby turns 18 on 1/11), will hunt plains game with Marius at KMG. After that it will be a long dry spell until we go home to Wisconsin for deer season Thanksgiving week.

Planning Hippo hunt in South Africa dates to be determined. Will be going with Pawprint Safaris. I Will no doubt add some other animals....just have to see what the bush gives me.

Cassiar Mountains of British Columbia for Stone's Sheep and Mountain Goat in late August through Mid-Sept. Hunting with Shane Black and BC Safaris. One more hunt in the cold and wet, and then finally going to Africa in 2018. I'm sure the sheep hunting bug will bite me again, but Africa is calling and I can't put it off anymore.

If all goes as planned and I draw tags it'll be black bear in Min and mule deer in Kansas for me. Africa round two won't be till 2018

Namibia in August for PG with my boy. Eland for me as main critter, misc PG for the boy.

I have a sheep and boar hunt (meat hunt) booked out of Kona, HI in March.
Applying for a Wyoming pronghorn buddy draw tags with my father for Oct.
Planning a 5 day float trip with my son here in AK, fishing, moose and bears in Sept.
Yearly black tail and duck hunting on Kodiak in late Oct or early Nov.

And who knows what else may come along....

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
