Leopard situation in South Africa

Believe me I know. I hope it all comes together otherwise it's buffalo and plains game.

Johnny,

Back to Namibia for the cat (if it all comes to fruition)?

I too am monitoring closely and if a chance comes up for 2017 hoping to take it

Yes sir.

Sadly, I probably won't have the chance until 2018. Hopefully import is still allowed at that time. ...

Man I hope so for everyone who wants to hunt them.

In all seriousness it will be 2018 or 2019 for me. I am headed to the Yukon in 10 1/2 months and not sure what happens after that. If the export band happens leopard will go to the back of the list but I will hunt one eventually.

I hope it happens for you Johnny, I loved your daily reports. However, it is hard to feel bad for you if he doesn't get a tag with buffalo and plains game as the replacement. (y)(y)(y)

Your right Mike, but man to have a life size leopard in my collection has been a life long dream.

You and me have the same dream, I already have a place picked out in my house where I want the mount to go. If the export band happens I will change my screen name to "CantImportTheDream". I do hope your guy gets a tag!

The other side is Trump gets elected and I think that will buy us 4 years.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on all this.

plain english please, can you still hunt leopard in zim or namibia now as long as you have a cities permit?

Absolutely

Plenty of leopards in the East Cape, I had one eating in a tree regularly on my last trip, less than 1/4 mile from camp.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!
