Greater Kruger provides an opportunity I think very few places do. I don’t know where else you can hunt with all big 5 present and look over the age class of buffalo available. Do you get any PG on quota in open areas? I saw a waterbuck during my hunt I would have traded my unlimited size buffalo permit for without hesitation.

I’m sure Derian will answer you soon but in the meantime I can answer, yes, at least two open area reserves in the Greater Kruger have plains game on quota that I spoke with Derian about. My hunt report is pending because I’m just waiting on the video shorts which I think will greatly enhance the report, hopefully within a week or two.

Yes we do get plainsgame packages in the open areas, there is some regions off the Greater Kruger that will put out Plainsgame packages which can be combined with Buff, Hippo or Spotted Hyena.
