I’m not sure how often and easily you give out your information, but you did just publicly post your name, address, and email in your screenshots. It is a public forum. You may have done it in past too not thinking about it. I’d ask a moderator to edit your post. This is interesting!
I recieved an email from what appeared to be the person I was buying bullets from on AHF. They asked for shipping address and how I wanted to pay for the item. So, I sent shipping address and identified I would be happy sending the payment by PayPal. The PayPal did not exactly match (and it was from a female not a male, "the wife's account allegedly") so I sent a confirmation email, you know like is this the exact account you want funds sent to. This is about where I realized, I never sent my email to this person. So I asked where the seller got me email from. They said from when I was selling one of my CZ550 actions, he said the price didn't work out. Easy enough to back track. Nope, never happened. Sent a direct message to the seller on AHF with a screenshot asking if this was him, nope. We will stick with DM for the duration of this transaction.
What I particularly took not of is the reinforcement comments about you can trust me, you are safe doing business with me; and then the impatient let me know when the funds are send and then a short time later the same thing.
This is like the third time this has happened, but this guy maybe building profiles or something, or he is really quick to search previous conversation. I don't know, but he ust about got me for sure.
Anyway, watch out this guy was fairly convincing and I don't know what member ID he is using to get information off of AHF. Only took him 9 minutes to search up a plausible answer for why he suddenly had my email.

I got taken for $1800 by Luger00 recently. The member answered a WTB ad and presented well but things went south shortly afterwards with lots of false information.
I placed a wanted to buy ad for a shotgun and Luger00 responded via PM saying he had one if I was interested. I asked him to send photos of the gun with his call, sign written on a piece of paper next to the gun, which he did. I asked him to give me his phone number so we could discuss this, and again he did. We talked on the phone briefly and he assured me he was trustworthy and legitimate. I then looked his posts/responses up on the forum in which he had responded multiple times on different subject matter in which he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, in-so-much that I was comfortable with the transaction. He then emailed every response afterwards asking me to send the funds with a tracking number which sounded reasonable. Every day afterwards, he asked if I had sent the funds, Which I provided him the tracking number. After five days, he said he had not received the funds yet so I looked up the tracking number and it showed they had been delivered two days prior to his last inquiry. When I provided the screenshot via email, he told me he will get them when he returns home. I had already smelled a rat by then, so I looked up my check transactions and saw where the check had been cashed two days before this. Then started the questions from him about having received the gun yet at my FFL holder. I asked him to provide the tracking number which he never did even after multiple requests. Of course by then I knew there was a major problem. I requested my money to be returned several times I also requested him to send me a copy of his drivers license if he was indeed legitimate.(he kept stating he couldn’t believe the gun hadn’t been received by my FFL holder yet). This went on for another week- the same old story.I hate to read this, and it sucks! I was taken by Chickensh*t a while back and should have known better to send payment via Zelle. Do you mind elaborating more on how this happened, for our own awareness and knowledge. Thank you!

So have I. I prefer Zelle. No method of payment I’ve seen asked for here provides any protection to the buyer. PayPal goods and services would but there would also be a charge and seller would receive a 1099 that no one wants. It’s up to the buyer to do due diligence.I’ve used Zelle for lots of classified dealings.
That isn’t the scam…
I paid with a check and it was deposited into a credit union account. I’m not done yet.@SkullKeeper - Luger00 has been banned.
A very unfortunate situation.
I just looked at the IP profile for this user.
150+ IP addresses since June 25. Welcome to VPN. No idea where the guy is really from.
Be careful out there guys and gals.
