They can go through an impeachment process, but I don't think he can remove them any other way according to the Texas Constitution.

The only legal ways to remove a Texas lawmaker is either for the person to be expelled by a vote of two-thirds of the Legislature — which happened when legislators voted to expel Republican Rep. Byron Slaton over misconduct in 2023 — or by voters at the ballot box.
Since Paxton is the Texas Attorney General, I imagine he knows more than any of us as to what is possible or not.
Paxton is petitioning the Texas Supreme court to have the 13 Democrats removed from their seats
The Texas supreme court is comprised of all republican judges. 6 of which were filled by Abbott.
Paxton is also suing Beta Boy O'Rourke for funding these Democrats from a political fund.
A Tarrant county judge sided with Paxton's motion, and Beto is not allowed to finance their disappearance.
This may not pan out in Paxton's favor, but at least he is not letting them get away with it without repercussion.

Did Islam attack Europe, or did Europe attack Islam?

Simple question.

This one is easy,

The Arabs invaded Spain in 711, they were finally defeated in 1492, and totally expelled in 1614.

The bad news is that they are back, we currently have around 1M moroccans lining in Spain.

Your account of historical facts are correct... It's just that your perspective is quite flawed...

So, your point is that because Christians, and Muslims, along with just about every other race, religion, and culture which engaged in barbarism and genocide a thousand years ago, it's justifiable for Islam to continue the practice and ideology now, and those who denounce it are xenophobic? That's nonsensical...

Islam is a problem of its own making... They are collectively suffering a similar fate as the "left" in which the entire faith has been overtaken by the radical minority... Any religion or culture that wants to be recognized as legitimate has a responsibility to not only denounce, but self-impose the eradication of the most radical and extreme elements within itself... Islam as a whole has failed to do this especially after the events of 9/11...
I was just thinking about this last night. I have quite a few muslim friends, nothing personal here, but if we look at the major issues all over the world, I bet Muslims would be involved in most of them. Israel and Hamas, terrorism in India, immigrant issues in almost all Western nations, too many other countries to mention. So, when do we say what we all understand? A joke below, just a joke, not what I want.

This is a joke:

A Pakistani man and an Indian man are hiking across a desert. They find a bottle, one of them rubs it ,and as we know, a genie comes out. He offered both one wish each. Pakistani chap says I want a wall built around Pakistan so that nothing can come in or go out. Poof, wall built better than even Trump can. The Indian thinks for a bit, and said fill-up the place inside the wall with water to the top.

And only allowed to enter through 3 specific airports in usa.....
Don’t get the logic of that. Also, I am not even sure those 3 Logan, JFK, Dulles have direct flights to most of those countries. I think Delta goes out of Newark.

Another reason to avoid UK for retirement.
What do you expect from a country that’s trying to ban pointed kitchen knives….
You are more likely to be a homicide victim in London than NYC; they’ll just stab you rather than shooting you.

Not to mention the acid attacks that became prevalent after the mass immigration.

Off Topic / On Topic - WTF IS GOING ON IN AUSTRALIA?

There is a distinct link between corruption and economic diversity.

Corruption hinders economic diversification, particularly in resource-rich economies, by undermining the development of diverse sectors and creating a reliance on a few dominant industries.

Additionally, corruption exacerbates income inequality, which further complicates diversification efforts by concentrating wealth and power in the hands of a few, limiting opportunities for broader participation in the economy.

Australia is now on par in economic diversity and sophistication with the likes of Ghana, Namibia, Haiti...
New Zealand is ranked 68th out of 145 nations.

Agreed, I have friends that are getting married soon and they want to honeymoon in the UK……

For the life of me I can’t understand why!
Agreed. I have traceable family there from about 1640 and earlier. Always wanted to go and touch base and do some looking around. Same for Scotland and Ireland. But now? Not so sure :(

I had the same concern when we made a two week trip through Ireland and Scotland last September; however, I was pleasantly surprised to not feel "surrounded" the likes of which I've seen on the TV out of London. Perhaps it was because we stuck to the tourist spots(?).
