This is the dream.Yeah my kids did not have big problems dating and finding attractive good spouses. I think the problem is overstated but I did have to run off a couple loser guys pursuing my youngest daughter. She just got married on Sunday to a great guy from a great family. All four kids are married now and we have seven grandchildren, so far. My two sons each have two and will have one more child each. Oldest daughter has three and is done. Shes 63 and serving 20 years for crimes she was convicted of in a federal court.. which means she has to do every day of those 20 years.. shes served 3 so far and has 17 to go.. theres no time off for good behavior, no parole, etc.. She will very likely die in prison.. most people dont make it to 80 in the federal pen..
I dont believe anyone like Maxwell has the ability to feel convicted over their past transgressions.. if she felt guilty or ashamed, that would have come out during her trial... she didnt testify in her own trial..
So.. unless the govt has something to offer her.. I highly doubt shes going to offer anything to the government.. this is a clear case of nothing to lose, and everything to gain on Maxwell's part.. If they expect her to say something to Congress.. congress is going to have to give her something..
And I dont think Congress actually has the power or authority to give her anything she wants... they cant commute her sentence.. cant pardon her.. they cant even assign her to a different prison or arrange for preferential treatment, etc..

Good, I don't agree with the 9th circuit most of the time, but this time it was the right call. It is not ambiguous at all. That whole argument that it was meant for ex-slaves is pure BS as the wording does not state that....
