Looking to buy quality used slides for .375 HH, .416 Rigby, and .470 NE.

I’d love to find a set of breakdown, ferruled, shooting sticks here in USA.

For sticks save yourself the trouble and go straight to @African Sporting Creations to buy yourself a set. Top shelf equipment.

I’ve seen people spend a whole lot of time and effort and money on home-made rigs that aren’t half as good as theirs.

Another option, with admittedly more plastic and gizmos, is the Bog Pods or Primos Trigger Sticks. Both product lines have multiple options and accessaries.

Similarly look at Jacques Tredaux for reasonably priced leather slides. I have a couple and really like them. You can wear them in if you want them to look use by just rubbing on them while you watch tv.

Can't beat the primos trigger stick for the money. I've used it to slay more pigs than I can count. The best feature is it's near silent when deploying the legs and it deploys quickly. The only improvement that could be made to it is if it has a button to spread out spring loaded legs to make the operation completely 1 handed. Aside from that its up there with the best options IMO.

I got my cartridge slides from Trader Keith. Fabulous leather that already has the broken-in feel to them. I don’t think you can find better honestly.

Buy a set of Viperflex quad sticks. No shooting sticks with 3 points on the ground will have the stability of quad sticks.

Quads are definitely the most stable and GUN-STIX for about $180 are light , collapsable and super stable! By far the best option no matter where you hunt.

I second Viper Flex,...a lot easier to shoot off than a single contact point set up.

Make your own shooting sticks. Cool factor…

My PH uses dowel stock. They work great.

I ended up buying the sticks my PH uses. Not the most expensive by a long shot, but total utility. Practice to the standard to perform to the standard.

I made quite a few sets for me, family and buddies. 3 dowels and a chunk of inner tube - maybe $15 a set. That’s what my PHs always had available and I ended up liking them the best.
I have tried the various commercial sets and still prefer the cheap dowel option. I haven’t used the quad sticks yet, wouldn’t mind trying them but I fear they would be a little more difficult to maneuver / adjust with animals moving. This might be easy to overcome with some practice I suppose.

Hot tip! Thanks! Pretty sure I still want slides and am going to keep looking but at that price for real leather from a known entity?

Grabbed a pair.

Anyone got a design or a link to a design for either a tripod or a quad shooting stick?

There’s some bamboo around here just begging for a machete.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
