Hi all,
I’m looking to sell my Chapuis Brousse 470 NE double rifle. I bought it used in 2017 from William Larkin Moore and Sons. They said that it was made in 2005, hunted with some, and had taken a buffalo. I haven’t hunted with it since I’ve owned it, just shot it a handful of times. This rifle has ejectors as well. It comes with a Plano lockable hard case, its original case and paperwork from Chapuis, a 470 ne cleaning kit from African sporting creations, two snap caps, and a leather galco belt ammo carrier.

I’m asking $10,500 OBO for everything. I live in western PA and may be willing to drive a bit for a face to face transaction. Please feel free to reach out with questions or if you want additional pictures.
Thanks for stopping by and looking,
Voodoo

Folks will probably want to know LOP.

For a rifle of this sort, is 50 meters (yards to me) the normal regulation distance?

Great guy to deal with and the gun will most likely be better than described.

Chapuis owner and fan here and that rifle is a steal at $10,500. A new one is over $15k.
The top rib has a removable block--look at the photo of the barrels and top rib and you will see the screws--that makes mounting a RMR sight really easy.
For those that haven't read it yet, look on the champlinarms.com website and read their assessment of Chapuis double rifles--- says they are a "best bang for the buck" double.

Thank you for the kind words! I’m not trying to get rich off it by any means. This forum is a treasure and has some great people on here so I want to offer it at a good price!

Would you perhaps take a kidney or leg in trade! Omg dream gun for sure at a steal of a price. Oh, if only

Sorry if I missed, but do you have the regulation data??
What part of Western Pa??

@Voodooracer - you should be able to get $9500 to $10,500. Not sure what you paid for it but they are a solid double and beautiful compared to Kreigoff and well above Merkal.

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
