I have a Rigby Highland Stalker for sale. It is in .30-06 and comes with 10 boxes of Norma ammo. Talley rings are included.

If features a deep reddish walnut stock, exceptionally done leather recoil pad, LOP is 14", the rifle without scope weights 8.08 Lbs. Barrel is 22", drop of comb is 5/8", drop of heel is 11/16", 3 position open sights, island sling swivel.

Rifle is in excellent condition. As shown in the photos there is a scratch in the stock that can be repaired should the buyer wish.

The bolt works extremely smooth and feeds as you would expect of a high end Rigby rifle.

Price is $10,000 shipped to your ffl.

Personal checks are fine as are certified checks.

Please contact me for details.

As everything else is on AH - price is negotiable as we all know the cost of new one.

Thanks.

Agreed, if someone is looking for one they'd be crazy not to jump on this. If I were in the mood to sell mine, it would be for a lot more than is being asked here!

I can't believe this was not snapped right up...full disclosure, I recommended to him to ask more for this deal given I know its value...he obviously has decided to sell this great package deal for even less than I recommended! It is a deal!!!!! Just go online to John Rigby.com and see what this rifle costs forget about the extra's he is offering. Calculate shipping and VAT and you will see what an incredible deal this is!

High rings ? What scope did you have on it ? How did it group?

Very interesting dynamic. I would have expected this rifle at this price to move in minutes. I’ve recently posted what I thought were very good deals on quality rifles on AH and subsequently sold them elsewhere. Perhaps AH members are hitting the point of saturation!

Again, if anyone is after a highland stalker, you’re going to be hard pressed to beat this deal!

This is a very good price from a great seller. I’ve been very pleased with all of my transactions with this member.

.30-06s are hard sellers. If this was a .275 it would be gone in an instant. AH membership is much like myself, light calibers then jump straight over .30s to .375 and up. To some degree.

JK...which norma ammo?
180gr Swift A-Frames - .75 MOA was the average grouping. We tried various bullets - TSX, TTSX, CoreLokt - all shot within 1.25 MOA. Hence the offering with 10 boxes of ammo....

This is not your typical long range gun. We (deceased hunting buddy and I) used this one and a twin in Africa on one trip. We chose 180's due to the variety of game.

He came back, got terminal news and I bought it from him to help out.

I have a couple of the Highland Stalkers in other calibers as well. They are very well made, well balanced and fit my frame.

High rings ? What scope did you have on it ? How did it group?
Normal height Talley rings. Used a Swarovski Z5i 3.5-18x44 4wi scope.
Groups with AFrames were .75 MOA, with TSX, TTSX and Corelokt were slightly larger - averaged 1.25 MOA. All were 180gr bullets.
Hence the 10 boxes of ammo included in this deal.

Trigger is smooth as you would expect from a Rigby.
Fit and finish as you would expect from a Rigby.
Balance as you would expect from a Rigby.
It is a Rigby and very well made now that the German Blaser folks took them over.

One thing I really appreciate with this member is you get loads that are accurate in that gun and reloading data. Everything I have bought from him had that included and that’s quite helpful to have that much data from a real shooter. Plus he’s an interesting guy with a lot of hunting experience all over the world.

A dream rifle for sure. Too bad I'm poor. Good luck with the sale. Weekend bump!

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
