For the last month we have been completely rebuilding our 300 H&H ammunition line up with the bullets that our customers have requested the most... about 95% of ammo orders in 300 H&H involve 180 Gr Nosler Accubond, 180 Gr Barnes TTSX, and the 200 Gr Nosler Accubond.

We thought about adding the 180 Gr Nosler Partition... anyone's thoughts on that bullet?
Is it worth adding to the offering and completing load development for that product line?

I purchased several boxes in 180 gr Accubond. I see you offer Northfork in 300 win mag. If you had offered that bullet in 300 H&H I likely would have chosen it over the Accubond. The Partion doesn’t interest me. I think it’s too soft. I like tougher bonded bullets if available.

I had a pre '64 model 70 in 300 H&H and got over 20 reloads per case properly full length sizing them. Made a body sizing die that sized all the way to the belt after regular full length sizing.

Ideal twist is 1:12 for heavier bullets, 1:13 for 160 grain and lighter.

Great bullets for short range shooters/hunters... good terminal performance too.

But we have only had a few orders in any caliber for the North Fork bullets in calibers .375 and under... I don't think there is any real demand because they offer no G1 BC / ballistic data and it seems like everyone wants to make a bullet drop chart or get a custom turret. Same with their CPX bullet, which shoots great... no ballistic bullet data. Once we get that I believe we will get more demand for that brand.

We could easily do a custom load development for someone using that bullet, but until there is more demand for the NF bullets in the smaller calibers, I doubt we will invest in the load development and data.

Makes sense. I’m realizing I’m in minority for my age group. I don’t like turrets and try to keep hunting shots inside 300 yards. I just shoot at range at 100/200/300 to understand my particular bullet and hold over as necessary. I look for performance on game over perfect accuracy. I unfortunately have a large number of swift A frames in 300 win mag or I’d try your North Fork in it.

Have 500 rounds of 3006 brass in factory sealed cartons purchased from GRAG & SONS.
Would like to trade for new 300 H&H brass to use in my old pre 64 Win model 70 heavy barrel.

I have used the 180 Partiton on bears in 30-06. and 300 win mag.

It worked great and exited. I think the Partition is a great all around bullet for anything you’d hunt with a 300 magnum.

My 300 H&H did not like Ballistic tips, ok with AccuBond or Barnes and simply loves 180 Partitions and Hornady inter locks. I've had good luck with H 4350 and Reloader 19.

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
