Here are some of the trophies my wife and I took on our 2023 safari in South Africa. She must have had fun as we are rebooked with Tsala in 2027 in Mozambique
!
No sir. I used Chris at Wings and Things in Ham Lake MN. Chris has done whitetail's for me in the past and I was always pleased with his work. Chris is the one hanging the Kudu for me. He delivered and help me hang everything, great guy.Beautiful trophies, did Bullseye taxidermy do the work for you? Tsala Hunting Safaris does a great job, infact my brother and I are going back in 2026 for Buffalo!
South Africa, would like to do Mozambique someday! Good luck to you sir!No sir. I used Chris at Wings and Things in Ham Lake MN. Are you hunting with Tsala in SA or Moz? Either way best of luck.
The space in the middle is reserved for the buffalo I shot this yearPlenty room for more !!
those are real beauties . Using the buff as the centerpiece will be a "showstopper" . Do you have another pic of the kudu in position on transom? I am in the early stages of planning a trophy room and do like your approach. Also what is your opinion on european style skull mounts ? For big buff or kudu bulls nothing compares to the chest or shoulder mount . Same for sable. That said I also like the spare, stripped down, esthetic of the skull mount. Oryx done this way can be impressive.
As an aside , If you have a shot on an good impala ram it's definitely worth considering. The thick horned, muscular, older rams present surprisingly well . Any thoughts or suggestions on mistakes to avoid or trophy room design would be most welcome.
Good luck with your project and the future hunts
