Very cool to see how things are built elsewhere. No 12 YD cement trucks with pumpers. Good old fashion hand built.

Also get excited when I see you have 2 honey badgers at the waterhole, my nemesis animal. This is a thread I will follow.

Good job.

Thank you all!

When u build far away from any city on farms u have no other choice but too mix conc and build everything by hand

Its the “old school” way

Nice camp guys

Like to see that old school. There is an island where I fish about 40 KM from nearest rd, a very rich man purchased whole island 1 KM wide X10 KM long, concrete was pumped from truck into a huge barge then towed to build site where it was off loaded. Cannot even think at cost. They built roads from beach to houses lots. No mixing on site. That's the prosperous Canadian way, camps so far away in Canada only use timbers. I love the African way, bricks and thatch. I remember being a kid when the older guys and I built our deer camp, was same, tractor mill cutting the trees we dragged, mixing concrete in wheelbarrow. Was an awesome camp, many memories made there.

Beautiful, can't wait to see the finished camp. I hunted the Kalahari in 2022, and it is a special place.

Hunted in Makapong and just north of Terra Firma 2 years ago. Wonderful area and fantastic memories.

Wishing you the best of luck in your new venture.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
