thats great
hope he appreciates and understands what he accomplished

thats great

i have a passion for getting kids hunting
we host around 20 kids a year with various groups and their parents, great to see them out there with smiles on there faces doing normal kids stuff, shooting 22, pellet guns, climbing trees, playing in the sand etc
they are the future of this esteemed past time

So cool, way to go Charlie! I love seeing kids out hunting! My son was 12 when he drew a tough tag near where we lived in WY. Similar outcome.

Wow! Great job Charlie! And great job to your brother as well for raising Charlie right!

Not nearly enough tenacious or determined kids these days.. those character traits will serve him well in life…

Wow very special he will surely remember it for the rest of his life.

That is wonderful! Congratulations!

Great pics and congratulations to your nephew!

Now we are going to need some more details..... Caliber weapon, type of ammo, distance shot, ect.

Or perhaps get him a screen name and have him do his first hunting report?

You guys out west are so fortunate and awesome to be able to take your kids hunting for elk. Here in the south it’s your first whitetail as a kid that gets you blooded. I can’t imagine the rush of seeing my sons when they were that age getting an elk. And such fabulous eating too. Dadgum, so excited for y’all!

Congratulations to all, nice bull!!

This is just fantastic! Congratulations to your nephew.

So he shot the Bull at 200 yards with a suppressed custom Remington 700 (trued 700 action, Lilia barrel, Timney trigger, McMillan stuck) in 308 Win at 200 yards. The bullet was a 168gr Nosler AccuBond. He center punched the Bull and took out all the vitals and dropped him…
Kids got a bright hunting future!

WOW....Congrats to Charlie on a Nice bull.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
