Great report! You had quite the adventure. How long were the tusks on that bushpig?

The tusks were 5" long. A very nice addition that was necessarily expected, but when Andrew asked if I wanted to shoot one, it took all of about a half a second to answer, "Yes!"

Wow! When looking at a photo of a bushpig, I can never get a sense of tusk length. What are your taxidermy plans for that beast?

He will be half mounted to match a warthog that I half mounted. I'm not sure of the pose yet, I'll likely let my taxidermist use his artistic eye.
